Overview
The AAT Level 4 Managing Cash, Credit and Debt Bootcamp is a 16-week advanced finance programme focused on preparing learners for specialist treasury, credit control, and debt management roles. Delivered by Future Connect Training and funded by the Department for Education and Hull City Council, the Bootcamp combines two AAT Level 4 optional units with practical Excel skills training:

Who is it for?
Learners aged 19+ with prior bookkeeping or finance experience (AAT Level 3 or equivalent recommended)
Finance staff seeking progression into cash flow, credit control, or debt recovery roles
Career changers with strong numeracy/finance interest aiming for specialist financial roles
SME staff who need upskilling in Excel-driven financial reporting, budgeting, and credit management
Course Duration & Delivery
Duration: 16 Weeks
Format: Blended – 70% live online teaching, 20% inperson employer workshops, 10% optional centrebased tutorials
Guided Learning Hours (GLH): 65
Sessions per week: 2 x 3-4hr sessions
Curriculum Plan
Develop advanced skills in cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and liquidity ratios.
Learn how to assess credit risk, design credit control policies, and recover debt.
Master advanced Excel for ageing reports, dashboards, and scenario modelling.
Designed for learners moving into treasury, credit control, and finance officer roles.
