This qualification is designed to help you take your very first steps in understanding and using English for everyday situations. You'll learn the basics of speaking, listening, reading simple words and phrases, and writing very simple things.
You will start to learn how to listen to and understand simple spoken words and phrases. You'll also practice speaking clearly enough to be understood in very basic conversations, like saying hello or asking for something simple.
You will begin by learning to recognize very simple words and signs that you see often. This might include your name, simple labels, or very short instructions.
You will start to learn how to copy simple letters and words. You might also practice writing your name or filling in very basic forms.
