AAT Level 3 Qualification

The qualification builds on top level 2 AAT. This is an important milestone for AAT students as they are learning more intense and important concepts. Like all other AAT levels, we aim to integrate practical training along with the academics. You will be trained on the contents of Accounts Assistant Training that will train you on Accruals, Prepayments, Asset registers, Depreciations and many more.

You will be learning Sage, Xero , QuickBooks and Advanced Excel.

Requirements for AAT level 3 Qualification

AAT level 3 further develops the knowledge and skills acquired in AAT level 2 and is ideal after the foundation certificate. You can also apply after completing an intermediate degree or A class, and it can also help you gain exemption in some units.

Knowing Double Entry Bookkeeping, you can also opt for AAT Bookkeeping qualification instead of AAT level 3.

The equivalency of AAT level 3

According to Qualification and Credit Framework, AAT Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Accounting is equivalent to A levels but is a more advanced course than A levels.

Duration of the course

The course takes around six to twelve months to complete and make you eligible for finance officer, assistant accountant, and advanced bookkeeper jobs.

Average AAT 3 qualified salary

The average salary for an AAT level 3 qualified individual is from £15,00 to £25,000. However, it can vary according to your experience and knowledge of the field.

Assistant Accountant earns an average salary of £22,218 that can increase up to £29,349.

Finance Assistant has an average wage of £19,321 and rises to £23,316.

Credit Controller’s average salary is £20,769 and grows to £27,780.
